Guess what time it is, writing time! Please join us for a fun-filled writing class with live classes, grading, and some optional Minecraft starting in August and September 2023. These courses are 2-semester classes, and the textbook will vary depending on the age/grade level. Each class can be used for a full writing credit. We will have a live class each week, assignments, and optional Minecraft activities to go along with it. The live class will be recorded to watch later. These classes will be taught using methodology by The Institute for Excellence in Writing by teachers certified to teach with this method. You can read more about this method below:

Please note that headsets will be required for all SKrafty live IEW classes this year. We recommend the following one which works well:

WHEN :
Live Classes begin the week of Tuesday August 28th OR Tuesday September 5th OR Tuesday, September 12th (Check each course to see the individual start date). There will be a week off for Thanksgiving on November 20 – 24, and 3 weeks off during December 18th – January 5th. Second semester will begin on the week of Monday, January 8th and conclude on the week of April 29th. Winter Break will take place during February 12 – 16 and Spring break will take place during the week of March 25 – 29 during which there will be no classes.
