Description

Please join us for a fun-filled writing class with live classes, grading, and some Minecraft.  Your student will have a live class each week, assignments, and optional Minecraft activities. Writing assignments will be submitted via Google Docs. Although classes will be recorded, attending live class is strongly encouraged for the student to be successful.  Microphone and webcams required.  This class is taught using methodology from The Institute for Excellence in Writing by a teacher certified to teach this method. US History-based Writing is a level B course. Each class can be used for a full writing credit.  Add a Fix-it course for a full language arts credit.

Students will earn badges as they complete quizzes and a Diamond Armor badge when they complete the whole class.

Course Length

This course will be a two semester class using the required textbooks: US History-based Writing (Student Book), Student Resource Packet.

When

This class will begin on Tuesday, August 31st from 10:15 AM – 11:30 AM CST and will end Thursday, May 2nd.
