In case you don’t keep up with the latest Minecraft news I wanted to let you all know that there was a new update for Minecraft today! This is very exciting news for players because it means there will be some really cool new stuff like New Biomes, Cool maps enhancements, and other fun things. I think it’s going to be great, and we can’t wait to get to play on it.
Many folks have already updated today, and are now having trouble getting onto the SKrafty Homeschool Minecraft Server. If you log into Minecraft right now chances are that your computer will automatically update your Minecraft to the new version (1.7). If that happens you WILL NOT be able to connect to SKrafty. We will be updating SKrafty to 1.7 as soon as it’s available and stable enough for the server, but until now in order to play you’ll have to roll back to version 1.6.4 to play.
I know that’s kind of a bummer, but it won’t be for long and the alternative (Not Playing with other kids on SKrafty) is much worse, don’t you think? If you know how to do that then awesome, carry on. However..If you need instructions on rolling back here you go:
Step 1: Launch Minecraft and click “Edit Profile” from the Launcher Screen.
Step 2: Then click the drop down next to “Use Version”. Change it to 1.6.4, Click “Save Profile”, Then click Play.
