SKrafty Writing Class with IEW Structure & Style 1C(2022/2023)

In this new course, join us as we journey through all nine units of IEW’s Structure and Style.  The course begins with basic key word outlines and ends with a focus on literature.  This enjoyable course is recommended for students at a 9th grade level or higher.  One year of IEW experience is highly suggested.

Students are encouraged to actively participate.  They will see and hear each other as they learn, which provides a classroom feel.  Students are given the opportunity to present their stories to the class via webcam and microphone.  Space is limited to provide a more personal experience and allow for interaction. 

Your student will have a live interactive class each week, assignments, and optional Minecraft activities. Each class can be used for a full writing credit. Writing assignments will be submitted via Google Docs. Attending live class is essential for success however sessions will be recorded.  Classes are taught using methodology by The Institute for Excellence in Writing by teachers certified to teach with this method.

This course is a 2 semester class using the required textbook IEW Structure & Style Level 1C,Student Resource Packet.

This class will begin on Tuesday, September 6th, 2022 at 1:00 PM – 2:15 PM CST and will end Monday, April 28th, 2023.
