Description
This is a 9-week class focused on various military aircraft with an emphasis on cargo, fighter, and bomber aircraft. This is an all-new line up of aircraft that I have not taught on SKafty up to this time. So, if you have taken other aircraft classes with me consider taking this one with new aircraft.
The learning goals for this course will be to teach the students about several different military aircraft like the B 58, C 17, C 5, CH 47, F 14, Tejas fighter, Tactical Nukes, V-22, and the X-15. Furthermore, the discussion in the classes will also focus on the Cold War significant historic events and U.S. policy of peace through deterrence. The desire of the teacher is to engage the students with questions and dialogue to help them further learn the material and answer questions. There will be no assigned homework, quizzes, or tests in this class and the teaching style will be lecture via power point material with a few questions asked of the students.
