Let’s time travel, learn some amazing facts about ancient civilizations, and make some new friends!
During this 13 week class, we will be visiting Ancient Egypt, Greece, and Rome and we will be doing this using 2 different book series. The first, the “Who Was” series. This series of books brings a lot of powerful information on people, places, and events to children in a straightforward way. The second, the “Magic Tree House” series. This series brings in a bit of fiction with Jack and Annie, but we will also be reading the accompanying Fact Finder, for more fact finding fun! Both of these series appeal to both boys and girls and are designed for seasoned readers and reluctant readers alike!
