This is a 10-week (20-lesson) Bible study systematically going through the Gospel According to John from chapter 1 through chapter 10 in this class.
The learning goals for this course will be an interactive look at this Gospel account. The class will have students actively engage in the reading, topical discussions, and using logical arguments and statements for their given position. This class will not be primarily lecture style like my other SKrafty military aircraft and weather classes. The teacher will provide background historical context, hermeneutical instructions, and concepts based on sound theological reasoning coming from a non-denominational orthodox Christian position. The desire of the teacher is to engage the students with questions and dialogue to help them further learn from the material and answer questions and to become more familiar with the Gospel account. There will be a purposeful emphasis on who Jesus the Christ is as a person, his ministry, and His position as part of the Godhead in accordance with this Gospel. There will be no assigned written homework other than reading the upcoming chapter to be ready for discussion in next class.
This class will meet Mondays and Thursdays from 10:00 am – 11:00 am CST beginning on Monday, January 4th 2021 and will be ending Monday, March 8th 2021.
