Military Aircraft and Cold War History Part II

This is a 15-week class focused on WWII fighter and bomber aircraft to include the United States, Great Britain, German, Japanese aircraft.

The learning goals for this course will be to teach the students about several different military aircraft like the B17, B 24, B 25, B 29, P 40, P 51, P 61, F6F, Spitfire, Mosquito, Meteor, Me 109. FW 190, Me 262, Zero. Furthermore, the discussion in the classes will also focus on the WWII significant historic events.

The desire of the teacher is to engage the students with questions and dialogue to help them further learn the material and answer questions. There will be no assigned homework, quizzes, or tests in this class, and the teaching style will be lecture via power point material with a few questions asked of the students.

About the Curriculum:

This curriculum is designed by the teacher with over 24-years experience serving in the United States Air Force and as a government contractor providing meteorological support and training to both conventional and special operations forces.

This course is a 15-lesson (15 Weeks) course.

This class will meet Fridays from 12:00 pm – 1:00 pm CST beginning on Friday, January 13th and will be ending Friday, April 21st.
