green carpets are enemy spawns
Keyhole signs indicate specific keys need to be there
Respawn Anchors are checkpoints, but you have to fuel them yourself with Glowstone
Hoppers are the unique loot of a dungeon
Trapped chests have more powerful loot but shouldn't be placed anywhere but a hard to reach area
Put white carpet around locked doors
Purple means all enemies in the room must be defeated before you can progress
Red carpet indicates a boss/mini-boss


Basic Level Design:
If you are changing levels of a building, change up the block design pattern.
Playability should come before all else, including details.
