Trench - A Look Inside

So, factions has been lagging like mad lately and it's been preventing me from getting any work done on my base. We're about 1 month into Season 2 of factions, and so far it's been a fun round. But in a week or so, I'll be MIA for a while, quite possibly through the end of the season. This means I may never get the change to complete my base while it's on the server. A little disappointing, but understandable. I've saved a copy to my singleplayer world, so I'll probably just continue building on there once it ends. So I decided to give everyone a little peek inside the Trench base. The base is divided up into 5 rooms, each about 35 blocks tall. Each of our officers gets their own room, and may decorate is how they please. This has led to some interesting, and creative rooms. I'll only be showing off my room, out of respect for the other officer's privacy. If anyone in the faction want to show off their own room, they can. Except for @DAVO2013 . He copied my room block for block. He's unoriginal :(

1. A view most will recognize. Just the messy outside of our base.

2. One of the main corridors on the bottom floor of my room. I went with a design I've never used before, opting to combine acacia wood, stone brick, and colored clay. I also used more arches in this build, but managed to keep the symmetry I'm obsessed with.

3. Chest storage. Nothing fancy about it.

4. Iron storage. I went with an insane amount of iron storage, about $20,000,000.00 worth of iron can be stored here. Why? Because once you get enough spawners, the issue doesn't become how much you make. It becomes how lazy you are about selling it. In my case, very lazy.

5. Blaze grinder and enchanting area. Note to self, blazes + wooden builds are not a good combination.

6. Auto-brewery and potion storage. Extremely helpful for lazy folk like myself.

7. IG afk area, complete with AFK box. Useful when hiding from people who are trying to glitch into your base.

8. Level 2 corridor. A work in progress.

9. Protected storage. In theory, nothing can get in these chests short of a hybrid TNT cannon blast. Useful when protecting your valuable items from glitchers.

10. A better view of the arches.

11. Base hub, where my /home is set. A really nice area with everything you could want.

12. I saved the best for last. A little show of our natural southern hospitality

I must admit, it's a little strange building all this in survival on a server that will be deleted in only 2 months. There's something appealing about knowing it'll all be lost, but still putting in the effort to make it look like a work of art. Which, in a way, is what the base is. A work of art. Not many of my builds in creative or in factions have taken up as much time as this one, and it's only a little over halfway complete. I plan to add more auto-brewers, a way to protect the build against blazes, a message board/auditorium for meetings, and a villager trading center. For some odd reason this base ONLY spawns zombie villagers naturally. Like 50 a day. Idk its weird. As I stated, I've gone ahead and saved a copy to my singleplayer world, so it WILL get completed. On SK, or offline.

Lemme know what y'all think of it

Impressive, but slightly dissatisfied that you aren’t using the trench yellow/dark, desaturated color theme like in the album colors.
