Description

This is a 15-week class focused on United States military aircraft with an emphasis on fighter and bomber aircraft from WW II to modern day. The learning goals for this course will be to teach the students about several different military aircraft like the P 51, P 61, F 86, F 14, F 15, F 16, F/A 18, F 22, F 35, B 25, B 36, B 52, B 1B, B 2. Furthermore, the discussion in the classes will also focus on the Cold War significant historic events and U.S. policy of
peace through deterrence. The desire of the teacher is to engage the students with questions and dialogue to help them further learn the material and answer questions. There will be no assigned homework, quizzes, or tests in this class and the teaching style will be lecture via power point material with a few questions asked of the students.

About the Curriculum:

This curriculum is designed by the teacher with over 24-years experience serving in the United States Air Force and as a government contractor providing meteorological support and training to both conventional and special operations forces.

This class will meet Wednesdays from 11:00 am – 12:00 am CST beginning on Wednesday, October 6th and will be ending Wednesday, December 1st.
