Military Aircraft and Cold War History Part II
This is a 4-week class (8 lessons) focused on various military aircraft with an emphasis on Cold War history.
The learning goals for this course will be to teach the students about several different military aircraft from World War II like the P-51, more modern aircraft in the U.S. Air Force & Navy inventory to include the A-10, F-16, F/A-18, MQ-1 Predator & MQ-9 Reaper Drones, B-36, AH-64 Apache helicopter, and the Ohio Class Nuclear Submarine. Furthermore, the discussion in the classes will also focus on the Cold War significant historic events and U.S. policy of peace through deterrence. The desire of the teacher is to engage the students with questions and dialogue to help them further learn the material and answer questions. There will be no assigned homework, but one quiz in this class and the teaching style will be lecture via power point material with a few questions asked of the students.
About the Curriculum:
This curriculum is designed by the teacher with over 24-years experience serving in the United States Air Force and as a government contractor providing meteorological support and training to both conventional and special operations forces.
This course is an 8-lesson (4 Weeks) course with one-week break.
This class will meet Wednesdays and Fridays from 11:00 am – 12:00 am CST beginning on Wednesday, October 7th and will be ending Friday, October 30th.
