Has your learner been trying to make themselves look at those “daily questions” to practice the SAT, but either didn’t have someone holding them accountable or didn’t have a live teacher helping them understand the question? This twenty five-minute session is offered weekly, and if your student misses it, the video will be online for the student to review.
I’ve been teaching math for sixteen years and I’ve been a personal SAT tutor for seven years. My students have typically raised their scores between 150 and 300 points. Learners reinforce their skills in algebraic terminology and tricks! We all study and prepare for the SAT as best as we can. And we may even feel like we can do algebra pretty well. But what separates the good SAT math scores from those of excellence is the student who doesn’t have to stop to try to remember how to approach something. While everyone sometimes has to do that, there is still hope! There are certain tricks and terms in algebra that can be drilled and reinforced for speed. That could make big difference in your final score! This class will take SAT Practice questions and work through them with the students to keep them on track for being ready for the PSAT/SAT. I keep the class lively, informative, and encourage learner input while helping every understand we’re in the same boat – everyone is learning! Buckle in! It’s going to be a fun class!
Session is held weekly on Tuesdays at 9 AM.
